Katie made a poster for one of her classes today (see photo to the right).
After picking Katie up at noon we went for a drive and chat, making this Daddy/Daughter Chat #46. We stopped off at McDonalds where Katie picked up a 6-piece chicken nuggets and a drink and I got a black coffee. We even wandered over to the Catholic Church that you can see off Ryan Road as you come up the hill. First time we wandered into that neighborhood.
After a bit of driving Katie wanted to drive so we went to Crown Isle. She is still “stinging” a bit from the trunk honking incident a few days ago, but took her time and tried to relax and enjoy the event. I told her that if cars piled up behind her, no need to worry, just move over to the side and put your hazard lights on and they will pass. The key? Don’t get flustered and if in doubt, stop! You can hit anything or cause damage if your car is not moving!
I went to Costco for supplies this evening. My wife wanted two gallons of milk, some cheese, and apples. Katie wanted some chips and chocolate. I also picked up some “Bear Paws”, which is a type of chocolate chip cookie. Bobby mentioned that the kids at school had them.
