Day #6024 – (Sat., Jul. 4, 2026) – Extreme Ends!

Today is July 4th, American Independence Day!

My wife and kids went to “Extreme Ends”, near Butcher’s Block, for haircuts this morning. They had three separate hairstylists going. You can see Katie’s new haircut in the photo to the right.

It looks like we have two broody hens now… My wife found Silky on eggs this morning. The “moms” are sticking together and not tagging along with the others. Time will tell…

Bobby went over to Bryston’s house this morning for a play date. He drove his bike…down Virginia Avenue, then he has to go on a trail from the end of Baxter. He brought Bryston back to our house this afternoon for a sleepover tonight.

I went to Costco tonight for supplies. I picked up some blueberry muffins for Bobby, and a watermelon for the kids. I also got hot dogs and ice cream for the family and our house guest tonight! Plain hot dogs for Bobby and Bryston as I didn’t know what they would want on them. Bryston confirmed, exactly like Bobby, ketchup only.

The boys ate their hot dogs and ice cream in front of the television in the family room. They watched “Paw Patrol” and were singing as well. They also watched a YouTube video where you try to guess the celebrity who is singing.

As I was driving to McDonalds tonight for a coffee a car passed me going 1000 miles per hour (give or take). He/She disappeared and might have gone to the hospital? Perhaps his wife was giving birth…

Some RCMP officers were at McDonalds tonight so I chatted with them about my idea of opening a vending machine business that would be open 24/7. Not a good idea because of vandalism was the response, which is what I expected…
