Bryston slept over last night and they got up around 11am this morning. My wife made them waffles with blueberries for breakfast.
Bryston left around 12:30 pm, just after noon. Bobby rode back with him to keep him company. Bryston had a playdate with Kae, and so Bobby stayed for that as well. He was planning to stay the night, but injured himself on the trampoline, so he came home. He’s happy that he doesn’t have to try and spend another sleepover night with boys talking all night… 🙂

My wife and Katie went to Value Village to return some clothes this afternoon. They picked up a couple of t-shirts for Bobby.
I took Katie out driving this evening (see photo to the left). This has been the first time we have been out driving since that truck honked at her on the Island Highway. She was busy with school work, but we should have gone out before this so that she would not be so nervous. We ended up driving on the back streets around Huband. I told her to just do what she felt comfortable with, and after a while, I took over. I thought she might want to go to Starbucks or McDonalds but she just wanted to drive and talk.
The meds Katie took today made her talk much more intensely and rapidly. She said she read that this might be a side effect and was surprised I mentioned it, even though she said she noticed this about herself.
I ordered an eTrike this afternoon. It’s called the “Eskute® T300 Folding Electric Trike” and looks like quite the deal. I was also able to snag $15 off as a first time customer. I ordered the red one, and they say it will be here in 3 to 10 days.
Bobby was wanting to have a sleepover tonight with the boys but my wife has to work tomorrow. No news yet on whether she will need to go to Duncan later this week.
