Day #6026 – (Mon., Jul. 6, 2026) – Batman Play Toy!

I got an email that the eTrike will be delivered by UPS on Friday afternoon. A lot quicker than the maximum 10 day delivery maximum they mentioned. It’s an expensive little item so we will probably have to sign for it.

I drove Katie out to Miss Daisy’s place this afternoon for her viola lesson. Bobby is still suffering the ill-effects of the leg injury he got yesterday, so he will do his violin lesson via zoom. Katie’s lesson was from 3:45-4:30 pm, so we left at 3:20 pm.

After the lesson we went straight at the intersection and ended up at the beach on the Courtenay side. We could see Comox harbor and the houses that overlook Goose Spit. Pretty little park, with pretty little houses overlooking the ocean.

We bought a little cat toy for Batman, similar to the one we had in North Carolina. The one in which a little ball ventures through a tunnel (see photo to the left).

I was watching a bit of television with Bobby in the family room this evening. He was watching a Minecraft video and I asked him about it. I learned that they have blocks with food items on them. I asked why they don’t have some sort of a system where you can smooth out the edges so things like trees look like trees and not blocks. Bobby told me that in Minecraft sand, gravel, red sand, suspicious gravel, and suspicious sand, can’t float. A random fact, but I thought it would be funny to text it to Katie. She replied: “Thank God you told me about this”… 🙂 We also watched a YouTube video entitled “I Made This Guy Give Birth to Over 150 Kids in Paralives”.

Katie brought her purse, and was thinking she might want to go for a drive after her viola lesson, but she was tired so we went home. We talked about Ocracoke and the wonderful vacations we used to have there.
