Bobby has been spending so much time on his computer as of late we tried to limit his time on the device today. She spent some time drawing (see photo to the right). His drawing is getting so much better! Sometimes it is so good we think Katie did it.
I went to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned this morning, then to the locksmith near Canadian Tire to get some backup keys for the new doorknob I put on main house back door last night.
Katie had another driving lesson this afternoon. She didn’t mind the instructor as much on this lesson today. Next week I will be meeting with the instructor so that she can give pointers on how to teach Katie moving forward.
The kids made sugar cookies tonight (see photo to the left)!
I put a new doorknob on Bobby’s bedroom door this evening. It has an indentation on it, but no hole for the key. Katie ordered two of them a week or so ago and with the indentation thought that surely there would be a key. Un ah… Anyway, we decided to keep these two knobs, one for Katie and one for Bobby. You need a coin to open these doorknobs.
Speaking of which, I wasn’t able to put the doorknob on Katie’s bedroom door. I will need a chisel to cut an indentation in the door to hold the housing. Always something. Wouldn’t you think that the person who built our house would use the same knobs and same layout on bedroom doors? Un ah…
The nurses strike has entered a mediation phase. After 10 days, if no agreement is reached, the mediator will probably talk to the Canadian government and they will order the nurses back to work…
