Day #558 (Fri., July 15, 2011) – Slept On An Egg
Katie likes to bring her toys into daddy’s bed and as a result I slept on a plastic Easter egg last night. I was too tired to move so it laid there til I found it this morning.
Katie managed to find one of my manila folders so when I woke up I found all the contents strewn about the bedroom floor. Fun, fun, fun…
Katie was playing with the sunglasses I gave her the other day and one of the stems broke off…so much for that toy.
I had to go to Trader Joe’s this afternoon to get food for Katie. They had some organic apricots and plums so I picked them up. That will make a nice change of taste for her. I also got some dried banana…not sure if she will like it or not. Since it’s dried it will make it chewy and a bit of a “sucker”…which she might like as she still seems to be teething at times.
My wife and I took Katie to the park near Lochmere this evening. There was a couple there with three kids. The father was from Germany…I had a great time talking to him. Apparently the economy is humming in Germany right now.
