Katie had a flex day today so she’s home from school. Bobby rode his bike to Huband.

I visited Home Depot this morning to pick up supplies for mountain bike ramp that Bobby and I are going to build. It’s a bit of a surprise!
When Bobby got home from school we got to work. There was a video online that showed how to create a light portable ramp, so that’s the guideline we followed. We have plenty of extra plywood and supplies so that Bobby can try this ramp out, and adjust accordingly. Too low? Then we will create one that will give greater lift. Too high? We can adjust that as well.
Well, this ramp was not 100% what Bobby was looking for (see photo to the left). Assembly went great, but Bobby found it awkward. The question is “why”. Perhaps he is just not comfortable with jumping ramps. The guy in the video gets some pretty good “air” on his version. I’m debating whether to lower this version, or perhaps just create a newer version with less height. Decisions…
My wife went to Duncan this afternoon. She will be staying at the home of Donna, her boss, this time.
Group viola/violin class was this afternoon. I dropped the kids off and came back to pick them up. In the meantime I went to Walmart to get some bread, milk, and a watermelon. On the way home we went through the drive-thru of “Triple O’s”, the burger joint that is 1/2 of a service station down the road. I just happened to know that they have a drive-thru as it’s kinda hidden.
