Day #1122 (Tue., Jan. 29, 2013) – Gummy Bears
Katie went to see Helen, the neighbor girl down the road, this afternoon. It was the first time that they saw each other since Katie’s party. When it was time to come home Helen didn’t want Katie to leave.
Katie also saw “Zack The Dog” today (you can see a photo of Zack to the left). We know that Katie loves Zack, but apparently Zack is attached to Katie as well. She whimpers when Katie has to go.
I stopped off at Trader Joe’s on the way home from work. Got the regular supplies…plus I picked up some juice packs (Katie has run out) and a special treat…some “Gummy Bears”. Katie often asks for gummy bears and these are more natural…they are made from fruit juice.
I saw the Indian cashier when I was at Trader Joe’s. She said we don’t bring Katie in to the store anymore…it’s just me. I guess she misses seeing Katie…we’ll have to take her there sometime soon.
I feel a cold coming on this evening so I wasn’t in much of a playful mood. We did play with the red cardboard blocks and some puzzles, but as soon as she went to bed I did as well.
