Day #2057 (Sat., Aug. 22, 2015) – Mini Daddy/Daughter Day
My wife received a lot of pacifiers in the mail today (see photo to the right). The one that little Bobby loves so much is getting kind of moldy and “tired” from all his saliva…time for a change.
Sometimes your days don’t go quite as you plan. I was planning a full fledged Daddy/Daughter Day today. Instead things seemed to keep cropping up so today was a “Mini” Daddy/Daughter Day #34. I did give Katie the “My Little Pony Sticker Book” I picked up for her last week and she loved it.
I managed to go to Trader Joe’s and pick up some stead and kebabs for when Dalia and her family visit from Charlotte tomorrow. Her husband is on a “low carb” diet and these two food items will work nicely.
This afternoon Stephen brought Gunther over to play in the pool. They were here when the guys delivered the IKEA bed for my wife. What a joke that was…they almost broke our trees while backing into the driveway and then refused to take the other IKEA bed back even though we packaged it up…
This evening my wife and I called up Verizon and ordered her a new cell phone. Her old one died and it is important that she have one with little Bobby being so young. Calling up Verizon seemed like the best option as going to Best Buy will take hours…
