Ah, the stress free life of a house cat (see photo to the right)!
I drove Katie to school this morning at 8:50 am and came back after her lunch hour to pick her up, basically around 12:35 pm. Why did she want to stick around for the lunch hour? The lady who runs the Interact Club at Vanier wanted to speak to her. In a nutshell, she wants the current leader of the Interact Club another year to be the main executive, so Katie will be “Junior Executive” next year. This works out great as being both the #1 in Interact and MUN could be a bit too much… She will get to ease into the main leadership role at the Interact Club and then take over the role in her final year at Vanier.
No school for Bobby today as his ankle is still sore. My wife is going to try to get either a doctor’s appointment or Urgent Care appointment.
We are out of milk and bread so I stopped by to pick some up at Thrifty Foods. With the Straits of Hormuz closed I wonder how long it will be before these prices go through the roof?
The earliest my wife could get an appointment with Dr. Lawley was next Tuesday. Urgent Care hung up on her when she was in the #9 spot so she had to call back. She ended up at #19, too low on the list to get an appointment today.
