My wife left for Duncan at 10 am this morning so it’s the kids and I for the next two days. She plans to come home either late Sunday night, or early Monday morning. With the nurses strike she has to help out with chores that they normally do.
Bobby left on his eBike to see Bryston this afternoon. They both ended up at Isaac’s house, and played for a bit, then Bobby rode home.
The eTrike was fully assembled yesterday, and fully charged last night, so I took it out for a quick spin today. I was able to get it to travel in a little circle, under power, in our driveway area. I was a bit uncertain about the various power settings and modes so I decided to park it till I learned more. Oh, and I ordered an accessory pack that included a couple of mirrors, a phone holder, and a combination lock, that didn’t come. I contacted the company to see if they will be arriving in a separate package.
It started to rain in the late afternoon…it’s been a while since it rained…
This evening the kids had a “hankering” for Wendy’s, so I drove Bobby there in the rain to pick it up. He wanted a “Baconator” combo, and Katie wanted a “Dave’s Single”. It came to over $32! For two combo orders??? I don’t know how long regular people with regular wages will be able to eat out as the economy worsens.

Back home the kids wanted to watch “The Simpsons”. They didn’t like the graphics of the earlier seasons so we had to select a more recent season, and settled on Season #15.
Katie was up late tonight making her own version of “Cards Against Humanity” (see photo to the right). This reminds me of all the games that I used to make as a child, and then the games that I used to make with the kids, such as the ‘Vet Game” and the “Snakes & Ladders” games!
Maple loves a newly changed and made bed, and has made herself at home in the bedroom on the main floor!
