The HVAC guy came this morning. My wife is working at the Comox Valley Hospital today, so I showed him around and told him what needed to be done. He basically said that our HVAC units run all the time, to blow air around, even if they are not cooling the air. In other words, they never shut off. Only Katie and Bobby’s room upstairs have air conditioning. My wife is inquring about getting air conditioning in her room and he said that there is not an outlet for this. He contacted his boss who will email us with a price on an HVAC unit for her bedroom.
The HVAC guy was from Australia, and came to Whistler 20 years ago and never left. I asked him what it would be like to be an HVAC guy in Australia, and he said that he wouldn’t do this job down there. Too many dangerous spiders and snakes and “whatever” in the crawl spaces.
Katie shared a photo of “One Eyed Batman” and I could not resist having ChatGPT turn him into a pirate (see photo to the right)!
Katie, Bobby, and my wife played “Cards Against Humanity” this evening. I said that once Katie gets back from Vancouver we could always go to Benino’s for gelato and take the cards along and play there.
Katie and Bobby played a bit of Genshin Impact this afternoon.
Katie got 93.4% on her last psychology assignment.
This evening Katie and I went for a drive. We started out at the little streets near where we live, then migrated down to Crown Isle.
I will be going with Katie on her driving lesson tomorrow. Kayla is picking us up at home and will be giving me pointers on how to teach Katie better.
Tomorrow my wife will be working at the Comox Valley Hospital from 8 am to 4 pm. Today she taxied patients to and from colonoscopy procedures.
