I took the spare eTrike key back to the locksmith this morning as it wouldn’t fit. He suggested I take the battery out of the eTrike and bring it in so that we can ensure it’s gonna work. I will do that next.
I think I might have an idea on how to fix the “suspension” issue with Bobby’s new bike. I went to Canadian Tire to pick up some supplies and found a Smores kit that my wife asked me to pick up for the kids the other day (see photo to the left).
Bobby was out playing with his new RC truck today. He got the jumps out that we were using for his mountain bike and ran the RC truck over those. We even made a game in which Maple was included. We put the tennis ball in the back of the RC truck and drove off and Maple chased after it to get her ball.
I took Katie out for a drive this afternoon. We went on the back roads of Huband and she is gradually getting her conference back. We saw a number of bunnies. She got scared when a dog came running out of a house and I suggested we just wait. It can’t hurt us and eventually went away, and we drove off.
We got three eggs today! Both grey hens and Empress are laying. Morticia lays very rarely!
Katie is starting to track her accomplishments for college scholarships.
This evening, I went to McDonald’s for a black coffee. When I got home, I took the eTrike out for another ride. I took the seat backrest off as an experiment. Without the backrest restricting me, I can lean farther back and settle into a much more comfortable riding position. The ride felt better.
